How it started

Three and a half decades ago, we started Ridgeline Contracting because we believed work should mean something. In Denver, we saw too many projects rushed through, shortcuts taken, and customers left holding the bag. We decided there had to be a better way.

Our early days were lean. Every job mattered. We learned fast that quality takes time, that listening to what a client actually needed mattered more than moving on to the next thing, and that a family business survives only if every person on it takes pride in their name being attached to the work.

Over 35 years, we expanded into concrete, landscaping, excavation, trucking, demolition, asphalt, and land clearing. But the philosophy stayed the same. We do the work right because cutting corners early always costs more later—in money, reputation, and sleep.

What 35 years taught us
